I don’t smoke, but in all honesty, wish I did. Unfortunately it’s incredibly unhealthy. I love the act of smoking. Keeping focused on a small, satisfying task. Inhale a fire stick for five minutes and enjoy. It’s practically meditative.
That’s why I have always had a soft spot for smokers. They have become the forgotten few in our society… shoved under the bed like an old gym bag when you clean your room. You may want it out of the way, but it’s still there.
Now that it’s patio season and also the ten-year anniversary of the restaurant smoking ban in Toronto, I decided it was time to lend a voice to the hardcore smoker.
