This is what my TTC subway car looked like today at rush hour. They had just sent a fresh train down the pipe, and I happened to step onto the platform at precisely that instant.

It’s amazing how something so simple can set the tone for an entire day. An extra second tying my shoelace or staring into space at a stop light would have thwarted this golden moment.

I think it is worthy of a mention on the popular website 1000 Awesome Things.

I may not have experienced winning the lottery or bringing about world peace… but I did enjoy having only to absorb the scent of my own body odour.
